Endocrinology is a medical discipline that deals with the so-called "endocrine" glands, i.e. organs capable of secreting hormones directly into the bloodstream.
It is the science of hormones, their effects on the functioning of the body - the metabolism - and the diseases related to them.
The Etiotherapist must know the anatomy and the physiopathology, in order to know which secreting glands should be normalized manually, and in which axis the hormonal normalization takes place.
