SomaTherapy Year 2 Fascial Normalization: Whole Body & Diagnostic Tests for the Upper Limb

€2250
March 22 - 27, 2023
9am to 5pm

Fascial normalization will focus on the intrinsic quality of the fasciae and will address various fascial chains analytically breaking down to their components. Fascial chains can include direct links where there is a traceable continuity of the same tissue throughout the kinetic chain as well as indirect links where contiguity, being immediately adjacent, of fascial tissue has a significant influence on the function of the chain.  Water is constantly being linked and unlinked to glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans in the extra cellular matrix. This continual process of GEL and SOL of linking and unlinking of free and bound water is fundamental for not only for the health of the fasciae but also the health of the body as a whole.

Therapists who learn Fascial Normalization techniques begin to acquire the foundational skills of treating the severely acute patient, finalizing complex soft tissue cases and restoring function to the fasciae of the viscera.

Learn directly from the creator of the ELDOA™ Method, Guy VOYER, DO in this hands-on seminar teaching over 100+ Fascial Normalization techniques covering: Lower Limb, Upper Limb, TMJ, Trunk, Spine & Pelvis along with diagnostic tests of the spine and pelvis.

This seminar is open to therapists of all modalities, but especially useful for chiropractors, physical therapists, osteopaths, manual therapists and sports trainers.

Learn manual techniques and assessments used to normalize injuries and performance for current and retired athletes in the professional sports arena such as the NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL, PGA, and UFC.

Course Description

Water is a major element of the Extra-Cellular Matrix of the fasciae.  It is constantly being linked and unlinked to the glycosaminoglycans and the proteoglycans in the ECM. This continual process of linking and unlinking is described in the Osteopathic community as the primary respiratory mechanism (PRM).  A properly functioning PRM is one of the indicators of fascial health.

If the PRM of the fasciae is disturbed, the structural and physiological functions of the fasciae at a local or global level may be compromised leading to dysfunctions of a specific muscle or articulation or an entire kinetic chain.

Therapists who learn Fascial Normalization techniques begin to acquire the foundational skills of treating the severely acute patient, finalizing complex soft tissue cases and restoring function to the fasciae of the viscera.

Learn directly from the master himself. Guy VOYER, DO teaches precise techniques rooted in deep knowledge of fascial relational anatomy and tensegritive biomechanics. Over 40 years of dissections, clinical work, and patient treatments worldwide, prove VOYER's techniques and instruction invaluable. He has (and continues to) successfully treated world-class athletes with the same techniques he teaches today.

This seminar is open to therapists of all modalities, but especially useful for chiropractors, physical therapists, osteopaths, manual therapists and sports trainers.

What to Expect:
  • PDF Manuals are distributed the morning before class. If you wish to take notes, bring an electronic device that is conducive for digital note taking.
  • An additional $120 USD is collected on the first day of class for daily lunches held from 12:30-1:30pm. The fee is not optional. Please bring cash in USD.
